Yummy food and great drinks. The bagels are from an amazing Montreal Bagel company in Kelowna.
Very quaint place. Had basil soup which was too much like a tomatoe soup, but very fresh. Will just order another soup upon our next visit..which will be soon..
What a terrific little discovery while waiting for our air bnb to open. The lake house coffee shop has a casual and comfortable vibe with good tunes and fun artwork. The drip coffee was pleasant, not too sure how long it had been out but the haystack cookie was sweet and delicious. Will come again.
Funky art gallery/ restaurant with a large selection of gluten free meals
1st time here the chi tea was amazing
Always friendly service, delicious eats and a large variety of amazing beverages!
I absolutely adore this place! Best coffee shop I ever did see...comfortable and modern. An atmosphere that keeps me coming back and coffees are fantastic. I recommend this place muchly and will definitely keep coming back as often as I can. Staff are always friendly and welcoming.
Great coffee and good food, reasonably priced.
Food is inexpensive here, so you can live quite cheaply.
Not particularly my favourite in terms of food but would go there anyways to hang out. Its got a nice vibe.
Breakfast panini overpriced, soggy and bland.
Bohemian setting, great food, home made. Delicious flatbreads and homemade carrot cake. Wonderful coffees
Cute, clean, and friendly staff.Food and coffee was great.
I used to live in Lake Country and still enjoy coming back to this place: it’s a cool place (connected to an art gallery!) with decent coffee and food. This last time we went, the service was terrible and it seemed like the staff were annoyed that we were there. They made a mistake in our order and were a tad rude when we said it wasn’t what we ordered. Not sure if I’ll come back after this experience.
Perfect little coffee house. Nice relaxing feel. Great coffee and good food. Attached art gallery ads a really nice touch. Definitely recommend skipping the corporate big coffee shops and drive the extra 30s to get here
And old room mate and his wife own the place great atmosphere food and the coffee is a good cup of joe thanks guys
Friendly buzzing place with healthy food and good coffee. Always have an art exhibition, book shelf, internet, regular crowd. Next to Lake Country Art Gallery.
Nice little coffee shop. Very good coffee and baked goods
Great coffee at a great price served by friendly staff
Great local coffee place in Winfield for those who avoid corporate (Tim Ho’s) coffee.
Nice place to hang and enjoy a coffee or lunch. Loved the atmosphere! Get the carrot cake!
Like the coffee and the food for lunches is excellent, also dog friendly patio which is nice...only complaint is most of the staff aren't overly friendly- when you first go to counter they make you wait without saying anything, so you feel ignored, .just a -I'll be right with you would be helpful- but definitely don't fault them on drinks and food..
Chose a local coffee shop in hopes for a great iced coffee, but was unsuccessful. Watched the staff make it with less than half a shot of espresso. It did not taste very good. Unfortunately staff were also not very welcoming.
Wonderful hidden gem. So happy that we found this place! If you enjoy local coffee houses, this one is a must!!
Fabulous little place. New owners ha e made it very welcoming
Best sandwich I've eaten in years.! I don't know how the girl in back did it but she is magic at making a panini !!
Super cute little coffee house, fun art on the walls and cozy furniture, delicious baked goods and tea/coffee! Perfect stop if visiting the Kangaroo Creek Farm nearby
Remember my order right away, super tasty coffee, cool building.
Good coffee and eggs. Amazing toast and jam. I ordered extra toast for the first time ever.
We stumbled across this little out of the way coffee house whilst looking for a supermarket. What a find! It is actually set back slightly off the road with parking to the side rather than in front. Totally original with, 'art work' on the walls. The coffee was really lovely and on one visit I tried a blueberry cake creation, it was absolutely gorgeous and although the slice was rather large and I intended to share it, I just had to eat the whole piece!!
Very cute place and serves awesome food and coffee!
We had some very good coffee. The pineapple upside down cake was delicious. The atmosphere is laid back, informal and friendly.
I was more than impressed and wasn't planning to be because it was just a drive-by stop before we headed back to the mainland.Lake Country Coffee House is that if your house had artists running the interior. Beautiful, not overdone, fits well both the merging doorway into the local gallery to the outside patio. A lot of effort and skill has gone I to this place! The coffee was a surprise, well made, delicious and mixed drinks keep the balance of sweat and coffee bean notes. The real flavour of coffee pops out, a reminder you are drinking caffeinated treat. The bean is from "Cherry Hill Coffee" great bean choice and my only complaint is not with the coffee but not knowing the origin of the bean. Roasted in the Okanagan but produced where? Africa, Brazil, Vietnam?Close to Kangaroo Creek make this a stop before or after a day trip, try the caramel macchiato iced!
Great food and coffee! Love this place :)
Good friendly atmosphere and coffee is good. Home made carrot 🍰 is to die for.
Really cute environment to sit with friends or to get some work done. I ordered a small "the root" soup and it was excellent.
I've been an off and on customer for the past year. Coffee is phenomenal and some of the baked goods are stellar. That being said the customer service is incredibly lackluster and staff can be incredibly rude. At peak hours there is typically one or two staff members handling customers and making drinks, this can lead to long wait times. It is definitely worth a try but as a local I'll stick to Starbucks for my daily coffee run, the staff are friendlier and the service is more consistent.
In a region saturated with pub food and fries, its refreshing to find a place serving healthier options. The service here is also amazing and the whole place has a funky atmosphere. If you're in the area, avoid the chain options and give this place a try.
I used to go often, and loved this place which doesnt answered so well my expectations. Two months later. But I went recently and they really ameliorate their beginings, its amazing now.Decoration , food.Welcoming.
Fast friendly service, a cozy relatively quiet environment & a good selection of nosh. The housemade soups are amazing!
Just a great spot to have a friendly chat and a good quality coffee. Lot's of treats to chose from including vegan and gluten free, all made in house. Great art to enhance your visit, sadly didn't make it into the gallery, would have loved the cafe to close at 3 and the gallery to close at 3:30 to check it out on exit. All 5 stars earned for quality, cleanliness and uniqueness of the space.
Pros. Cozy spot, fun decor, decent coffee.Cons. Slow, fairly uninterested service.
Great coffee in this cozy coffee shop. Make sure you get their punch card!
Very Good Coffee House/Gallery. Enjoyed a Double Mocca and Muffin.
This place is too cute. Great service and nice snacks. I really like getting a coffee and then walking through the at gallery. Recommended. Wifi not strong enough for streaming
Take this for what it is - we’ve only been once. The veggie panini was toast with hot veggies inside. If you like hot cucumber and lettuce, you’ll love it. No sauce inside. Very plain. The poached egg + toast was reasonable. Poached as requested.Biggest disappointment: was very excited when google told us there were delicious croissants available here. When we asked for a croissant, they hadn’t put them in the oven yet. 😞Lastly - General wait time was slower than expected for 3 workers on a Sunday morning at 9am. Had to ring the bell after waiting for nearly 10 min at the counter.Staff was very friendly when they finally appeared though, and the cafe itself is adorable and clean. Well decorated.
Great service, great food ,great staff. An all around great place to go.
Friendly staff, tasty coffee, and a very comfortable place to hang out. Thx!
Excellent food and coffee in a rustic, hippy style joint. Love this place.
